Pelvic Floor
Physical Therapy

We support women in every stage of life, helping them find comfort in their bodies and peace in their experiences. With compassionate care, healing and restoration become possible at every age.

Who is pelvic floor PT for?

Pelvic floor physical therapy supports women in every stage of life. It is especially valuable during pregnancy, early postpartum, and even 10+ years after childbirth. But it is not limited to mothers. Women of all ages, whether or not they have been pregnant, can benefit—especially those navigating challenges like pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and/or fecal incontinence, constipation, or dyspareunia (painful sexual intercourse).

Common Concerns We Address Together

Pelvic floor therapy can improve and relieve:

  • Bladder leakage with running, jumping, sneezing, coughing, or everyday activity

  • Pelvic organ prolapse (bladder, uterus, or rectum) often experienced as heaviness

  • Weakness in the core or pelvic floor that impacts exercise or daily life

  • Tightness and pain with insertion or during intimacy

You can explore my affordable in-person Workshops, which includes education and my favorite exercises for various pelvic health conditions.

My Training & Approach

I bring advanced education as both a Pelvic Health Specialist, under the training of Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, and a Certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism coach. This training equips me to address the pelvic floor externally (through movement, posture, and corrective exercise) and internally (through vaginal or rectal exams when appropriate).

My approach is whole-body focused. The pelvic floor is the center of your body, and its function is deeply connected to strength, mobility, posture, and breathing. Unlike general physical therapy, I look at how the entire body—hips, spine, ribcage, core, and even feet—affects pelvic health.

Do You Need an Internal Exam?

Not always. I begin treatment externally, assessing your breathing, core engagement, hip mobility, posture, and strength. Internal exams are only considered later if progress is limited, and they are always optional. You remain in control of your treatment plan.

What to Expect in Treatment

Working with me includes:

  • Retraining breathing and core bracing to support the pelvic floor

  • Assessing and improving hip, spine, and ribcage mobility

  • Identifying and correcting daily compensations in movement patterns

  • Building glute, core, and foot strength

  • Addressing posture and alignment habits

  • Educating on healthy bladder and bowel routines

By improving how your body manages pressure and movement, we can reduce bladder leakage, minimize prolapse symptoms, and ease pain. Many clients also find relief from related issues like low back pain, hip tightness, or SI joint discomfort.

My Philosophy

The pelvic floor does not work in isolation. It interacts with every part of the body. By treating you holistically and addressing the full picture, I help restore strength, function, and confidence.
