Where are you located? What areas of the valley do you provide services? I provide mobile physical therapy services, meaning I come to you! Whether it’s your home or office, I bring the care to your doorstep. We are based out of Wickenburg and currently taking new clients in town limits and close surrounding areas. We plan to expand into other parts of the west valley in the future! Stay tuned.

What can I expect at my first visit with MGo PT? Your first visit will last approximately 1 hour. A comprehensive assessment and applicable treatment will be administered by our licensed physical therapist, Michaela Goering, PT, DPT. She will be sure that you have a thorough understanding of your injury and limitations then educate you on an effective, efficient and personalized home exercise program to continue progress.

Where in my home will we do our treatment if I don’t have a home gym? You do not have to have a home gym, as long as you have some sort of open space in your living room, backyard, garage, office- that’ll do! We spend time in conversation which we can do at your kitchen table or couch. I also bring a portable treatment table and exercise equipment we may need.

How do I schedule an appointment? Before the initial evaluation, you have the option to book a 10-minute phone consultation with me to ensure that we are a great fit. If you’d like to move forward, we’ll get you scheduled on the call. If you’re ready to book an appointment now and have no further questions, you’ll simply fill out the “Contact Us” section of our website. I will then contact you within 24 hours to schedule and confirm your appointment. You will then receive an invoice that must be paid to reserve your spot.

What do I wear for my appointment? Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for movement. If we’re focusing on a specific area - like your hips or knees - shorts or leggings are ideal. For upper body treatments, a short-sleeve shirt or tank top is most appropriate.

How long is each session? How many will I need? Each appointment is approximately 50-60 minutes. The number of sessions you will vary depending on your condition and goals. I will provide a clear treatment plan with an estimated timeline after your initial evaluation. A plan of care typically ranges from 6-12 sessions.

How long is a pelvic health related plan of care? Depending on your past medical history, commitment to following through with your homework, current activity level, seeing change may take anywhere from 4-8 visits minimum. Duration of your plan of care is something I am able to gauge and communicate with you after an initial evaluation and after we establish your goals. Generally I see women once every other week to start and taper off from there.

Is a referral required? No referral is needed—we’re in Arizona, a direct-access state. You can begin physical therapy without seeing a physician first. However, if you plan to submit self-claims to your insurance company or health share, they MAY require it, so reach out to your insurance provider to clarify prior to submitting for reimbursement.

Are you in-network with any insurance companies? I am an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. However, I can provide you with a superbill following a treatment session to submit to your insurance for reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits for physical therapy. These can be submitted to your insurance and may go toward your deductible. Unfortunately, I have no control over and can’t guarantee what services they reimburse, if any. Reach out to your insurance company if you’re interested in this to see what would likely be covered with your plan prior to your session so there are no surprises from insurance! I truly believe paying cash for PT gives you the best care possible. It means we’re not limited by insurance rules when it comes to your treatment plan—what we work on, how often we meet, or how many sessions you might need or want. For example, I might be treating someone for their low back or hip, and if they happen to tweak their shoulder playing a sport or during daily life, I can assess and treat it right then in the same session. If I were working with insurance, I’d need a new referral or approval to treat that new area—delaying care and making things more complicated. That’s just not in your best interest, and I want to keep things simple and effective for you.

What forms of payment do you accept? I accept cash, checks, credit card, Zelle, and FSA/HSA. I require to have a credit card on file for any late cancellation fees. If you are planning to use your Health Savings Account/Flexible Spending Account (HSA/FSA), I can provide a receipt of your purchase upon request.

What is your cancellation policy? Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit not only impacts your progress but also leaves a gap in the schedule that could have been used to help another patient. To ensure fairness and keep things running smoothly for everyone, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to an individual 1:1 appointment (e.g., physical therapy or wellness coaching). Cancellations with 24-48 hours’ notice will incur a $50 fee. Cancellations within 24 hours or missed appointments will incur a $100 fee, charged to the card on file. Life happens—we get it! You can cancel once without a fee if you commit to a package, as flexibility and understanding are key to building trust. Short Services (e.g., dry needling, IASTM, cupping, and/or Kinesiotaping) Sessions: Missed appointments or cancellations made within 24 hours of a 15-minute session will incur a $25 fee. For 30-minute sessions, the fee is $50. This policy ensures fairness to all clients and helps us maintain availability for those who need care. Group Coaching & Workshops: - No refunds for cancellations. Rescheduling for a future workshop is allowed. Team-Based Workshops: - Cancellations within 24 hours: Full team rate charged. - Cancellations within 7 days: 50% refund of the total team rate.

What is wellness coaching? Wellness coaching is all about YOU—your goals, your challenges, and your vision for a healthier, more balanced life. It’s a personalized, 1-on-1 process where we dig into where you are now, where you want to be, and map out a clear, actionable plan to get you there. The focus isn’t just on fixing problems—it’s about optimizing your lifestyle. That means looking at things like how you move, how you eat, how you manage stress, how you sleep, and even how you think. It’s about creating sustainable habits that help you feel stronger, more energized, and in control of your health. For me, wellness coaching is also about empowerment. Whether you’re managing chronic pain, recovering postpartum, or just trying to feel more like yourself again, my role is to guide and support you—not just with strategies, but with the confidence to take charge of your well-being. And for Medicare clients, it’s a chance to get individualized care without the limits of insurance regulations, so we can focus on what really matters to YOU. It’s about creating a life where you feel good, inside and out. We offer a broad spectrum: mobility and strengthening, pelvic health-specific exercises, activity modifications to avoid pain or injury, fall prevention, chronic pain strategies, preventative care, self-care tools like foam rolling, stress management, sleep hygiene, energy management, nutrition guidance, pregnancy and postpartum support, virtual pelvic health coaching, sexual health and intimacy, mindset and goal setting.

Do we HAVE to do internal pelvic floor treatment? Short answer, no! Internal pelvic floor treatment is never mandatory—it’s entirely up to your consent, and that consent can change at any point during any session. I always make sure to communicate with patients if I’m even considering it as part of their specific plan of care. If I believe it could be beneficial, I’ll explain why and how it fits into achieving your goals. However, there’s so much we can assess and treat externally, and I’ll always prioritize what feels right and comfortable for you.

I got my period, should I reschedule? Nope, no need to reschedule! I typically don’t perform internal pelvic floor exams during the initial evaluation anyway, and I’d always give you a heads-up if I thought it would be beneficial for your plan of care. Plus, you always have the option to decline internal exams—your consent is 100% in your control. There’s so much we can address externally and by focusing on the whole body, so your session will still be super productive!
